Life is about being flexible, learning that things can fluctuate above and beyond our control. Adversity comes in all shapes and sizes, yet that does not mean that we cannot learn to overcome and become stronger together. As your Professor, it is my job to teach and give you tools to utilize now and throughout your life. College life on its own can be extremely taxing - let alone adding a “global issues” to the mix. While life is slowly returning to normal from COVID - the norm now takes on new meaning to each individual. This includes how one likes to take college classes, either face to face, hybrid, or online. Our new norm allows students to choose their preferred teaching style to accomodate their preferred learning style, while coordinating life/job obligations and more.

All of my classes are ONLINE 500's meaning no set meeting times.

If I was on campus, you would see me in between classes kicked back in my chair, possibly with my foot up on the desk and listening to how a student’s day was going, answering questions, and helping others develop lifelong goals to pursue in the future. Of course, there is always “snack time” – healthy of course. 😊 Since we cannot experience that together, I do try to incorporate a variety of tools and interactive options ONLINE - giving you all the tools you need to succeed. Best of all - as stated earlier, there are no set meeting times, but I offer Q & A's ZOOM calls allowing students to ask questions, or just shoot the breeze - again non-mandatory! I enjoyed the class discussions because they were solely based on our opinions rather than trying to solve an unknown answer. This made it more enjoyable to talk to my peers and start genuine conversations. ~ Natalia
